CFY Program Workshop: Strengthening Impact
Through Partnership

This workshop brings CFY program partners together to align on what’s next and how we can continue growing impact across Pinellas County. As CFY serves 17,000 kids and 8,000 families, sustainable funding depends on shared outreach and stronger partnership support. This session outlines what’s changing and the simple steps programs will take to remain in good standing for funding.

Our Shared Role in Sustaining CFY’s Mission

Over the past several years, CFY has expanded its reach and impact across athletics, scholarships, and water safety. As we continue to grow, so does the responsibility to ensure our funding model remains strong, sustainable, and equitable.

To maintain eligibility for CFY funding, programs will be asked to support CFY in three key ways:

1. Hospitality Outreach
Programs will introduce CFY to hospitality partners who may participate in CFY’s March Hospitality Month, where restaurants invite customers to round up purchases in support of CFY.

2. Business Introductions
Programs will provide at least one warm introduction to a business that may benefit from trusted partners CFY works with (marketing, HR, or operations support).

3. Active Engagement
Introductions should be made intentionally — meaning the program has already spoken with the contact and confirmed interest before submitting the lead.

These actions help CFY generate sustainable funding without placing financial pressure on programs themselves.
