SPONSOR COLLABORATION

Breakfast at the Ballpark Series

Each spring, CFY invites postsecondary scholarship recipients and their sponsors to a special meet-and-greet and award ceremony at BayCare Ballpark or TD Ballpark, the spring training homes of the Phillies and Blue Jays. Beginning in 2027, CFY will also introduce Breakfast with the Rays. These events strengthen connections between sponsors, educational scholarship recipients, and community leaders while supporting the next generation of Pinellas County students.

TESTIMONIALS

Hear From the Kids

My mentor inspires me by her motivation to meet with me all the time and keeping me on track in my studies. In my education, I plan on using this scholarship to finish high school with my AA degree. Then I want to go to USF, get a bachelor's in biomedical sciences and become a doctor/physician.

I'm looking forward to joining NJHS because I always love helping others and making a difference in the community. My mentor is so sweet and really kind. She inspires me to be my best self. I'm so exited to go to East Lake High School and do early college with my friends. I feel like next year is going to be the best.

My favorite class is engineering because it is fun and I have friends. I’m not in any clubs yet but I will be joining some soon. I have not met with my mentor this year. But my last year mentor was sweet and talked with me about my grades. I plan on going to college and a goal of mine is playing basketball.
