During the July 2026 grant cycle, the fourth of six grant cycles planned for the year, the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay (CFY) awarded $220,435 to youth athletic programs throughout Pinellas County. This record-breaking investment represents more than double any previous grant distribution in CFY’s history and reflects CFY’s continued commitment to ensuring children have access to opportunities that help them learn, grow, and succeed.
With support from 20,932 community votes, CFY Pinellas received a $1,048.56 Target Circle grant to help fund youth athletics, educational scholarships, and water safety programs throughout Pinellas County. Thank you to everyone who took a few seconds out of their day to open the Target Circle app and cast a vote for CFY Pinellas. Every single vote added up, and the final results show just how much community support can accomplish. As the new school year approaches, CFY Pinellas continues its commitment to helping children across Pinellas County access life-saving water safety education. Through the Fred Fisher Water Safety Program, CFY partners with Pinellas County Schools, local municipalities, and community supporters to provide free swim lessons and water safety training to Title I elementary students.
