WHO

Title 1 Elementary Schools for students in kindergarten through 2nd grade at a Pinellas County Public School.

WHAT

In water safety instruction on the child’s schedule PE days for 2-weeks with a total of 6 individual classes per each session.

HOW

In partnership with Pinellas County Schools, CFY provides transportation, supplies, facilitates staffing and other support items to connect each school with this valuable life instruction

WHERE

In partnership with local community/city pools that are a five-to-10-minute bus ride, children receive water safety lessons by certified water safety instructors in Pinellas County

WHY

It is CFY’s mission to provide open access to all children of Pinellas county and these life-lessons to children would never receive due to families’ financial barriers

SWIM GEAR

CFY provides a water safety swim shirt to each child and with partners like the Red Cross providing other swim materials as they are available to ensure a proper experience
